SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES

internet cafe again, but this time in the cubicle-less one, for only 15 bucks an hour. cool eh? pero can't stay long, kasi i've a debut to go to on the 30th, a debut of sorts a jacks ridge on the 29th, and i'm going back to pisay (my high school) tomorrow to enrol my sister. connection? i need to remain as zit-free a i can when i go to the said events, and everyone knows too much exposure sa computer is bad for the face.

anyway, guess what? i'm gonna dance in raissa's debut on the 30th! isn't that just.. APPALLING? it's been ages since i last danced a choreographed dance dance in public, and this time, i've agreed to put my dignity at stake in front of raissa's family and friends. and at the apo view hotel at that. oh well. thirdie, u owe me. hehe.
it' easy to guess there has been no other choice to complete the "circle of 5" dancers. male dancers nlng daw kasi mahirap na sa girls who would be wearing their gowns and all.

speaking of circle of 5, or should i say Fab Five, i am repelled by the inclusion of sandara in the SCQ magic circle of 5. i think everything that has to be said has been said, but i'll give my thoughts anyway, bwahahahaha.

i feel for neri because it is plain to see that she has the talent that sandara sorely lacks. i feel for sandara because she is, okay, korean and she cannot fully express herself and perform the exercises because of her language difficulty.

but in the choice for the circle of 5, i think that this TALENT search remains true to its name and include neri.

what is the percentage of text votes anyway?! that is what i really am bothered about. in star in a million, texters' choice is a mere 2 points out of 10. the criteria for judging of SCQ intrigues me.

in SCQ, it appears that overwhelming text votes can overcome a contestant's status s "weakest" four days out of five.

i therefore conclude that given sandara's inclusion in the circle of 5, text votes dominate the judging. and i speculate that sandara was never in the bottom 2 in the first place. she should be top in the list! she was placed in the bottom for suspense.

mike says it was perfectly logical for sandara to be in.
popularity = network ratings = money after all.

i'd hate to see sandara the Grand Questor though.
i'm sure, if they did the search for a star circle batch privately, away from the public, as abs-cbn has done previoslt, sandara would easily get booted out.

popularity is also what american idol is all about.

i feel bad that jasmine had to go. sad even. but part of me was relieved that she would no longer have to endure all the nasty talk she's getting.
she clearly was singled out from the pack of latoya, fantasia, and diana, as the "weakest link" (at least according to the judges), and she failed to shine too in the top 3.
well we know she's good, and top 3 is good enough already, right?
we're proud of you jasmine, but i wish she'd acknowledge her filipino heritage sometime on tv. think about it, she never has.. yet. thirdie insists that she may be pure filipina by blood. hmmm...

i heard from a friend that jasmine sang "mula sa puso" in jesica soho reports. that was nice.

have to go now. i'm nearing my second hour na in this cafe.
i'm gonna have to look pa for a design for the yearbook. nagvolunteer daw ako. it appears that i was the most vocal kasi about the unsatisfactory design in some pages of the yearbook. hehe.

p.s.
i was supposed to give the blog a new look!
sort of new look. something i've been working on in photoshop.
unfortunately, i can't upload the files in this internet cafe! hmph.
